It does so by editing memory directly rather than manipulating the savegame. It can also be used to freeze the action points of each mecenery to 35 (Trainer +1) -------------- Installation -------------- Extract all files from the archive into a directory and run the exe. The programm will notice if JA2 is running or it will show you a button to start JA2. The statusbar and the window caption will prompt you if JA2 was found or not with either "JA2 not found" or the Build Version of JA2. (The icon in the lower right will also show a "connected" or "disconnected" symbol). If you want to use a different language in the item list you may replace the ini file with one from subdirectories included in this archive. The directories are named with the corresponding country code (ie. US = english version, DE = german version). You may also change the language of the ini file to a language not included. Just open the file ja2edit.ini in a text editor. It is commented to help you to change it. Make your translation available to the internet community ! -------- Manual -------- JA2EDIT acts rather similar to JA2. You hold [CTRL] and click on an item in inventory to pick it up, then drag it to another position and click again to put it down. Clicking an item without holding down [CTRL] shows detailed information about the item in the info box. To pick up an item from the item list just click it. While dragging, the mouse cursor shows you what will happen if you put the item down at the current position. A cursor with a black box means the item cannot be put down here. If you click nevertheless the item is released. If it came from an inventory slot it is returned there, if it came from the item list it is discarded. A cursor with a white box means putting down the item here will move the item to that position, overriding ever item that may already be there. A cursor with a white box and a cross in it may have different meanings. First, if the items are of the same type and are stackable you can stack the dragged item to the others. Second, if you put ammunition on top of a weapon and the ammunition fits into the weapon the ammunition will be loaded, replacing any existing ammo. Third, if the item is equipment for either weapons or explosives it can be mounted. Right-clicking on an item brings up a context menu for the item. With it you may delete and repair items, reload weapons and remove mounted items. Clicking on "Reload" reloads all of the current character's weapons Clicking on "Repair" repairs all of the current character's items Be sure you have read the information concerning the trainer before using it. --------- Credits --------- SirMAX: Thanx for help with the english version, especially for taking the pain to translate the itemlist. Sir-Tech: A GREAT GAME!
